This was just a delightful read! I love Meg Cabot’s adult books (never got into the YA books she’s written – though I liked the movies based on them) and this was no exception.
The main character was just the right amount of babbling and self-involved without being annoying. The plot is just enough of a fairytale to make you wish it was you on the train to France, but not so much that it seems unrealistic. Some of the characters are too stereotypical to be believable (like the guy’s girlfriend), so it’s hard to think that it won’t end up in a nice little bow.
However, it was a fun little read and a great way to spend a cool, fall afternoon.
